Essentially, a “second opinion” on the business case.

Due to high demand, another special PUBLIC MEETING is being held to provide opportunity for the public to speak to the Committee regarding procurement.
Wedesday, March 10th

Anyone can attend. However, those wishing to speak must either pre-register online or call 250-360-3001
to reserve a time slot.

Tell them that you want sewage treatment to be managed & operated on a "not-for-profit" basis, and that sewage treatment should be delivered as a public service.

March 24 - CALWMC “Business Case” Recommendation
After considering the Business Case report from consultants, the Peer Review, and the wishes of CRD residents, the “sewage committee” will recommend a procurement model to the CRD Board, which will make the final decision on March 31st.
(public may observe - MAXIMUM ATTENDANCE PLEASE)

March 31 - CRD Board approval of CALWMC Recommendation
DECISION DAY – BE THERE!
The final decision on “procurement” of the biggest infrastructure project in our history, as to whether sewage treatment will be “public” or “private” (“public-private partnership” - P3), is only one item on the agenda of a regular CRD Board Budget meeting. Contact the CRD Board members NOW.
